Traditionally-Made Stained Glass - Arts and Crafts Collection

All of these panels have been hand-crafted using the same copper foil technique which was pioneered by Louis Comfort Tiffany and John La Farge in the mid-19th century. Each one is made up of hundreds, and in some cases thousands, of hand-cut pieces of stained glass and glass jewels. Meyda Tiffany has been producing stained glass in upper New York state for over 30 years.

The panels which you see here were all designed in their New York studio and then made in China to very detailed specifications, including the use of American and European glass. Some of the glass used is the same types and made by the same glass-makers which supplied Tiffany Studios and other leading stained glass makers over a century ago.
